Tom was a true friend who i first came in contact with in ANCOC at Fort Huachuca AZ. Tom stood and represented everything that is good and desired in both a civillian and military society, such as family values, care, compassion, firmness, friendship, and leadership. Tom, i wish i could have said bye, your going to be missed buddy.

Tom you will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, soldier and friend. We will never forget you or your family in the days/years to come. Tom you were a role model for so many. Your family was solid and full of love! You motivated and inspired many people in your short time on this earth. I will never forget the many sit-down, family style dinners my family ate at your house. You and Jennifer always welcomed us into your home. I will never forget how you loved to BBQ. We never passed up a meal at the Bostick House! I remember how excited you were when you got that maroon, leather rocker. We all wanted to sit in that chair. I know you had many friends Tom and some only for a short time, but the short time together makes a lasting impression in our lives and our hearts forever. Your sacrifice will change our hearts forever. You were a blessing Tom. I'm sure we could all think of a life lesson we learned from you. Your journey on this earth has filled many hearts with great memories. Thanks for your sacrifice Tommy!!

    All our love,

Tommy Bostick was a great soldier. He was my best friend in the Army during my short time as a trainee. I met him at Ft. Huachuca, Az in 1988. He was one of those guys that, no matter what he did, things just seemed to work. He was universally liked, and I was not. He had an easy going demeanor which served him well in our difficult AIT. I remember my last conversation with him, back in 1989, when he told me he was going to go Active duty instead of staying in the Reserves. I was jealous. We had both grown used to the Army lifestyle. I had always hoped to catch up with Tommy again someday. I just Googled his name today to see if i could look him up, only to discover this grim news. He and I used to go back and forth about whose state was better, Texas or California. He must have been a heck of a soldier, because we both left Huachuca as privates, yet he rose to the rank of major. Tommy, I have never forgotten you, my friend. I will remember you in my prayer tonight, and I'll tell my son Jack all about you. God bless you, old friend, and God speed. Ryan Hill Garden Grove, California
